Nadeem Haider
Nadeem Haider is a senior development consultant with over 19 years of professional experience in management, advisory, and consulting roles. He has worked with multiple development stakeholders including bi/multilateral donors, UN agencies, statutory and non-profit organizations and public sector partners. Nadeem has worked in countries with varying contexts such as in transitional CIS countries (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova), middle income countries such as Iran, active/post conflict and disaster relief/recovery countries like Somalia, Yemen, Kenya, Afghanistan, Pakistan. He has also undertaken short-term work in South Asian countries – Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, in East Asian countries – Philippine, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Viet Nam, in East African Countries – Uganda, Angola, Tanzania, and in West African Countries – Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, Mali and Niger. Nadeem brings inter-disciplinary training background in social enterprise management, international relations and anthropology.
Asmat Ali Gill
Mr. Asmat Gill brings diverse academic background with Masters in Public Health Economics & Management and pharmacy. With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Gill brings evaluation and researching experience and has remained involved in design of research and evaluation, survey management, field data collection, analysis and reporting. His expertise include Economic Evaluation (CBA, CUA, Value for Money Analysis, etc.) of Health and development projects, costing of Health Programmes, Budget Analysis, Health System Research, Policy Analysis, Population and Gender Issues.
Faisal Shahzad
Mr. Faisal Shahzad is a development professional with a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations from International Islamic University, Islamabad. He bears special interest in institutional reforms that includes both private sector strengthening and public-sector reforms. Over the last five years at AAN, he has developed expertise in business intelligence, partner identification and development through hands-on involvement in end-to-end business development. By identifying partners in over 50 countries, he has managed a roster of over 1000 national and international experts spanning the fields of Education, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Disaster Risk Reduction and Health.
Jawad Khan
Jawad Khan has been doing MPhil Health Economics from Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, Islamabad and graduated in Economics from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan. He has developed his skill in Macroeconomics research, data analysis, confident, hardworking, and energetic, with learning Capacity and flexibility to accept challenges and can absorb pressure Situations. Recently at AAN, he has developed expertise in research and evaluation in multiple UNICEF projects. His area of interest is Macroeconomics and Health Economics.
Surraya Malik
Ms. Malik is a Research Associate with over 3 year/s of experience carrying out both Research and Evaluations. Her areas of expertise include Water & Wastewater Treatment, Air and Noise Pollution Control, Modeling of Environmental Systems, Physico-Chemical processes in Environmental Systems, Wastewater Treatment and Design, Water Resource Management. She has also worked on UNICEF Evaluations/Projects during the last two years such as an Evaluation if the Simplified Birth Registration System in Tanzania and a Formative Evaluation of the UNICEF FamilyConnect Programme in Uganda. She has organized and participated in various research projects/trainings and workshops and possesses experience in Report Writing among others.
Hamna Ishaq
Ms. Ishaq has more than 6 years of diverse experience in Research, Monitoring and Evaluation in Health, Nutrition, Child Protection and Birth Registration sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Policy and Development from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She demonstrates proven experience of the application of various evaluation approaches and designs using both the Qualitative & Quantitative research methods and tools. Her portfolio includes multiple evaluations, on a range of thematic areas. She has been a part of several USAID Funded projects as a Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant under Management Systems International (MSI)-PERFROM. PERFORM was one of the largest monitoring and evaluation project of the world.
She has travelled extensively at a national and international level for data collection in a supervisory role. She has also worked in African countries such as Tanzania, Uganda, and Zimbabwe for UNICEF projects. She has worked on several local and global issues like Gender Equity, Community Development, Water Security, Health, Governance, and other Social issues.
Ms. Ishaq has excellent research and analysis skills. She is proficient in conducting both primary and secondary research and have significant experience developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks. She is proficient in software tools such as SPSS, MAXQDA, and have used these to analyze both qualitative and Excel quantitative data.
Mawish Iqbal
Ms. Mawish possess diversified experience in the socioeconomic and humanitarian initiatives monitoring and evaluation (M&E) as well as research including randomized control trials. She has worked with Government departments, national and international development organizations and donors, including BISP, Social Welfare Department (Sindh and Balochistan), Women Development Department (Balochistan), Education D epartment (Sindh), IFAD, PATH/UKaid, EU, ADB, World Bank, OPM, University of Mannheim, C4ED Germany, RSPN, BRSP, NRSP, ACTED, NHN and ILM Ideas. She possesses excellent skills related to designing M&E and research projects and products along with implementing M&E and research projects and evaluation, managing field teams, third parties and consultants, training data collection teams, data collection, data analysis, report writing, leadership, coordination, collaboration, negotiation and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment along with meeting deadlines.
Fatima Masood
Fatimah Masud has over three years of experience as a Researcher and has contributed to multiple projects within AAN Associates and Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society. Her key areas of focus are within the sectors of Child Protection, Health, Nutrition, and Education. Her technical skills include Literature Review/Desk Research, Drafting Inception and Final Reports, Data Analysis and Visualization, Project Scheduling and Coordination with stakeholders and much more. She is also proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs as well as data analysis software such as MaxQDA.
Munazza Azad
Ms. Munazza has over 10 years of professional experience as M&E expert. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of London School of Economics (LSE). She aim to become an International Development and Humanitarian Aid Specialist and work with a well reputed and esteemed organizations which will offer a variety of challenges and responsibilities where her abilities and skills can be fully utilized.

Abdul Ahad is an inspiring social scientist with a masters degree in development studies from NUST Islamabad. He has been working in the international development sector for over 5 years, honing his skills in research, project development and management. His diverse experience with national and international organizations enables him to bring a unique perspective to the team, and contributed to overall growth and expansion.

Mr. Adi is a Social Scientist with majors in Development Studies. He has a growing career in the development sector with current focus on evaluations and research. Mr. Zarak has over 2 years of experience in carrying out Research, Data Analysis, Proposal Writing, Project Management/Development and Partnership Management across various projects in the development sector. His major expertise lies in Market Research and identifying potential business opportunities to facilitate Project Development. His sectoral expertise lies in the fields of Health (Mental and Sexual Reproductive), Nutrition, WASH among others.
Haris Jamil
Haris is an HR professional with 7 years of professional experience. Prior to joining AAN he was working with Maple Leaf Cement Factory as an executive associate. His expertise include processing payment to National/International partners and consultants, issuing contracts to Regular employees, database management of documents relating to HR, admin and accounts. Under his current role at AAN, he leads HR function which broadly includes, talent acquisition, employee experience improvement, total rewards, performance management and Learning & Development initiatives. Haris holds BBA Hons from Fast.
Khurram Shahzad
Mr. Khurram is a certified associate member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance (PIPFA). He is adept in developing and implementing, policies and systems improving performance, productivity and reducing costs and mitigating risks. He takes proactive approaches in every task and is an achievement driven manager delivering excellence through effective communication, coordination, strategizing, planning and execution.
Mr. Khurram has expertise in ERP Implementation, developing policies and procedures of diversified business units covering manufacturing, trading and contracting.
