What We Do
The importance of a healthy community cannot be understated for how fundamental it is for their sustainable development. Without good health and well-being, it is not easy to perform well in other spheres of life such as education and livelihood. Additionally, good health systems help reduce the gaps between differences in race and ethnicity, location, social status, income and other factors that can affect health
At all levels, AAN endeavors to enable its partners and communities access to quality healthcare efficiently, effectively and consistently. AAN’s experience covers Yemen, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Pakistan, focusing on hygiene, nutrition, immunization, health systems and family planning.
